We are over at Nagendra Sai Apartments in Anantha Nagar Colony. It’s Flat No 1, right on the ground floor, which makes it easy for folks to find us without climbing a lot of stairs. We’ve been running this agency for a good while in the Neredmet area of Secunderabad. It’s a family-style operation. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a polished lobby. It’s just an apartment with some desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We deal with various services, mostly helping people get their paperwork in order or acting as a middleman for different needs. It’s one of those jobs where you never know who is going to walk through the door next. Some days we are just filing papers for hours. Other days, the phone won’t stop ringing and everyone needs something at once. I like being in Secunderabad. It has a different feel than the rest of the city. More grounded, I think. We try to be straightforward with everyone. If we can’t do something, we just say so. There’s no point in making promises you can’t keep. The office is usually a bit cluttered with newspapers and tea cups. It’s a comfortable place to work. We’ve known some of our clients for ten or fifteen years. They are more like friends now, which makes the work more enjoyable than a regular job.
