Gnr Rock Drills

Gnr Rock Drills is located out in Phase-1 of the Ida Cherlapally area in Hyderabad. Our plot is number 476. If you've ever been to this part of the city, you know it’s mostly factories and warehouses for miles. It’s a dusty place, especially when the wind picks up in the afternoon. We work on heavy drilling equipment here. It’s loud, dirty, and very physical work most of the time. We spend our days taking apart big drills, fixing the internal parts, and putting them back together again. The grease gets everywhere, and it’s hard to scrub off at the end of the day. Our workshop is a large open shed that lets in some natural light, but it’s mostly fluorescent bulbs. We have a lot of heavy spare parts lying around on the floor. You really have to watch where you step. It’s not a place for anyone who likes to stay clean. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team to promote us. Most people find us because they’ve heard from someone else that we know how to fix their gear. We have some old desks in the corner for the paperwork, but nobody spends much time sitting there. We’d rather be out with the tools. The Hyderabad heat is no joke in May, so we start early and try to get the heaviest lifting done before noon. It’s just us and the hard work.
