Gems Hospital

Located at No. 6215 in the Chinna Bazar area, we've become a familiar sight for folks living around here. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood with a lot of people walking by to the shops and the market. The hospital building itself has seen a lot over the years and has its own character. We handle the usual stuff you’d expect at a local medical spot. There are beds for people who need to stay over and a small area for check-ups and consultations. It can get a little crowded in the hallways during the middle of the day, but we manage the flow. Our staff is mostly local people who know the area and the families well. We don't have those fancy automated systems you see in the big city hospitals; we mostly just use paper and talk to each other to get things done right. The rooms are basic but they are kept tidy for everyone who stays. You can hear the sounds of Chinna Bazar through the windows sometimes—the vendors calling out and the traffic passing by. It’s just life happening outside while we work inside. We do our best to take care of whoever comes through the door with an ache, a fever, or something more serious. It’s hard work, and the shifts can be long, but it’s what we do. We’ve been at this location for a long time.
