Garden Steel

Our place is on Road No. 70, right at Plot 425. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that, just a solid spot where we handle all the steel. Most days start pretty early because the trucks arrive before the traffic gets too bad. You’ll find us out there moving things around or checking the stacks. Garden Steel isn't about looking pretty; it’s about having the right metal when someone needs it for a building or a small repair job. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, so we try to get the heavy lifting done while it’s still cool. We’ve been at this plot for a while, and the neighbors know us by the sound of the metal clanging. Sometimes we have to hunt through the piles to find a specific piece, and your hands get dirty within five minutes of starting work. It’s honest work, though. We talk to the drivers, drink water from the cooler, and keep an eye on the gates. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the small desk inside, but we prefer being out where the stock is. It’s just a regular yard doing what we do every day. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the address and the steel. If the gate is open, we’re usually around back working. We like the routine of it and just getting the orders loaded up.
