Gandhi Naturopathic Medical College

Gandhi Naturopathic Medical College has been here in Balkampet for quite some time now. If you ever walk through the streets of Hyderabad near the temple, you’ve probably seen our gate. It’s not a fancy place with glass walls or anything, just a regular college where we teach about nature cure and how to live a healthy life using simple things. Most of our students come from all over the state, and they spend their days in the labs or reading books in the small library we have. The building is a bit old, and sometimes the fans make noise during the hot afternoons, but that’s just how it is. We have a lot of plants around, which helps with the heat I guess. The staff here aren't formal. We mostly sit around the office area talking about the schedules or what the students are doing in the clinical sections. You won't find many fancy posters or big advertisements about us. People just know where we are in Balkampet. It gets busy during the morning when everyone is rushing to get to class before the lecturers arrive. Sometimes the tea stall right outside is more crowded than the canteen, especially during exams. We just try to keep things moving day by day and make sure the students learn what they need to know before they go out and start their own practice. It's a simple life here in this part of Hyderabad, honestly.
