Yousufain Dicoction Centre

If you walk down the Yousufain dargah lane in Nampally, you will find our little spot, Yousufain Dicoction Centre. We are tucked right beside the Delhiwala Hotel. This area of Hyderabad is always packed with people coming to the dargah, so it stays busy from morning until late at night. We mostly focus on decoctions and tea. It’s a very small space, mostly just enough for us to brew the pots and for a few people to stand around. There isn't much seating, to be honest. Most people just grab a glass and stand on the Nampally dargah road to talk for a few minutes before moving on. We’ve been here in this lane for quite some time now. The steam from the pots keeps the place warm, maybe a bit too warm in the summer, but that’s the way it goes. We don't have fancy machines or anything. It’s just us, the stove, and the ingredients. We source what we need from the local markets nearby. Sometimes the noise from the street is so loud we can barely hear the orders, but we manage. It’s a simple life running a tea and decoction stall. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the decoction tastes the same today as it did yesterday. If you are ever near the Delhiwala Hotel, you can't miss the smell of our tea brewing. It’s a real community here and we are glad to be part of it.
