Ganberg Educational Foundation

Our office is in the My Home Hill View Apartments in Somajiguda, specifically in unit B-104 on the ground floor of the 6-3-886 block. Somajiguda is a very busy part of Hyderabad, but once you turn into the apartment complex, things quiet down quite a bit. The Ganberg Educational Foundation has been running out of this flat for a while now. It’s got that old-school Hyderabad apartment feel with the heavy doors and the balcony that looks out over the common area. We use the main living room as our primary work area and the smaller rooms are for storage and files. The walls are painted a light cream color that’s starting to show some wear near the light switches. It's a comfortable place to work because it doesn't feel like a cold, empty office building. We have a small kitchen where we make coffee and tea throughout the day. Most of the people working here have a background in teaching or school administration. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on curriculum ideas. Sometimes the security guards at the gate ask a lot of questions when visitors arrive, but that’s just how things are at My Home Hill View. It’s a very central location, which makes it easy for people to reach us from different parts of the city. We keep a stack of old magazines in the corner for anyone waiting to talk to us.
