Jagdamba Metal Corporation

Our business, Jagdamba Metal Corporation, is located in Fathenagar at No. 11-154. We’re right near Patmos High School, so we get the noise of the kids and the school bells all through the day. The address is actually mentioned twice on some forms, but it’s just the one spot near Patmos High School. Fathenagar is a gritty, hardworking area, and we fit right in. We deal with metals, so our space is full of heavy items, scraps, and the smell of industrial work. It’s definitely not a clean office environment. There’s dust and the sound of metal clanging quite often. We have a small desk tucked in the corner where we handle the billing and phone calls. Most of our day is spent moving stock or talking to truck drivers. The floor is concrete and has plenty of stains from years of use. We don't have fancy furniture; just some old stools and a wooden table that’s seen better days. It’s a practical setup for a metal business. We know most of the other workshop owners on the street. It gets pretty loud during the day, so you have to speak up to be heard. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of heavy-duty fans that move the air around. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it at this location for a long time now. People know us for being reliable, even if the place looks a bit messy.
