Enabling Village Foundation

Our place is located in Salem Nagar, specifically at 16-11-20/7/D/2/505. It's an apartment setup in Hyderabad. We have been working out of this space for some time now. The area is usually quiet, which helps when we are trying to get things done. Most of the people involved live nearby or have some connection to this side of the city. We call ourselves the Enabling Village Foundation, though we are just a small group of folks. We don't have fancy brochures or a front desk with a receptionist. Usually, it's just one or two of us sitting around a desk handling the paperwork. Getting here can be a little tricky if you don't know the lane numbers, but once you find Salem Nagar, it is okay. We focus on village-related things because that is what we know. It is not always easy running things from a flat, but we manage. Sometimes the internet goes out or the water is late, but that's just part of being here. We spend our days talking to people and trying to figure out how to help out. It's practical work. Nothing more, nothing less. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just stay in our corner and do the work that comes our way each morning. There’s always someone around if you need to talk about village stuff.
