Ellenki Degree College

Ellenki Degree College is out in Shanthi Nagar, which is part of Sangareddy in Telangana. It’s a bit of a distance from the main Hyderabad hub, which I think makes it a bit quieter, though not by much. Being a degree college, we have young adults here who are trying to figure out their futures. You’ll see them hanging out near the entrance or sitting in the canteen when they should probably be in a lecture. The building is a bit older, and you can tell it’s been used well over the years. We have basic classrooms and a few labs that serve their purpose. It’s a local college for local people, mostly. We don’t have a lot of corporate sponsorship or anything like that. It’s just us and the students. Sangareddy is a growing area, so things are always changing around Shanthi Nagar, but the college stays pretty much the same. We have our busy seasons, like when exams are coming up and everyone is suddenly very quiet and focused. Then there are the times after the results come out when things are a bit more relaxed. It’s a simple life for the staff here. We show up, do our jobs, and try to help the students get their degrees so they can move on to the next thing. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done and serves the people around here just fine every single year.
