This location is part of the Z.P. Quarters in Khammam, specifically House Number 6-3-27/2. It belongs to T. Mallaiah, and that is where we run things from. Being in the quarters means it has a very specific feel, almost like being at home but with more paperwork around. Khammam can get incredibly hot during the summer, so we have a couple of heavy-duty fans that run constantly to keep us from melting. The house is old-fashioned but solid, with high ceilings and thick walls. We’ve set up our workspace in one of the main rooms. There are books everywhere, mostly piled up on the floor because the shelves are already full. We have a small porch outside where we sometimes sit if the weather is decent. The neighbors are mostly families, so you hear children playing or people calling out to each other during the day. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We don't have a big neon sign or anything like that; people just know to come to this house in the Z.P. Quarters. Everything is done manually for the most part, with plenty of pens and ledgers lying around. It’s a bit old-school, but it works for us. We just go about our business day by day, handling the training details for whoever needs them in the Andhra Pradesh region. We usually have some chai in the afternoons while we go through the files.
