Suresh Metal Finishers

Plot No 121 in North Kamalanagar is where we do our work. The address is quite long because it is tucked away near Ecil. Suresh Metal Finishers is a hands-on workshop. We spend our days dipping metal parts into tanks and polishing them up. There is a strong smell of chemicals and metal in the air, which you stop noticing after being here for a while. The concrete floors are often damp near the washing stations. We have to wear heavy rubber boots and protective gear to stay dry. It is a small business, mostly just a few of us working together. We do not have a proper lobby or a sign that catches the eye. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and other small shops, so it feels like a community. We try to keep our noise down so we do not bother the neighbors too much. The workspace is a bit cramped with all the tanks and racks, so we have to move carefully. It is not a shiny factory with new equipment. Most of our tools have been used for years. We just focus on getting the finish to look right before the items are picked up. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to it. We take our breaks on some old benches near the back door. It is just how we run things every day. We just get the pieces done and move on to the next batch.
