Dr Suri Bhagavantam Foundation

The Dr Suri Bhagavantam Foundation is based out of Musheerabad. We are located in Aamani Apartments, on the first floor. H.No. 1-1-416/B is our door number. It’s right in the Gandhinagar area. Hyderabad is a big city but this part feels like a small town sometimes. We’ve been here for years. The building is older but it’s sturdy and we feel safe here. We don't have a lot of staff. Mostly it is just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We do foundation work in memory of Dr Suri Bhagavantam. It’s something that is important to us. We keep our overhead low so we don't need a lot of fancy things. The apartment gets a lot of light in the morning. We sit there with our tea and plan out what needs to happen during the day. It’s not a corporate office with a receptionist. You just walk up the stairs and knock on the door. Sometimes we are out running errands and the place is locked up for an hour. We try to stay organized but it’s hard with all the old paperwork we have to keep. Musheerabad is always lively and there is a lot of history in these streets. We feel lucky to have a spot in this part of town. We just keep doing our bit every day. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy. We aren't looking for awards. We just want to do right by the name.
