Dksr Better Life Foundation

Over in Secunderabad, right across from S.M Homes, you’ll find us in the Nipuns Pearl building. We’re in suite 301. The Dksr Better Life Foundation is really just a handful of us who live nearby and wanted to do something useful with our spare time. Maruthi Nagar is a busy area, and there’s always something happening right outside our window. We set up this foundation because we kept seeing folks who needed a bit of a hand with basic stuff—mostly health things or just getting by. We aren't experts or anything, just local people. The office is pretty small, mostly filled with donated supplies and old desks we found. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people are in there, but we make it work. We don't have a big budget or a fancy board of directors. It’s just us looking at what needs to be done in the neighborhood and trying to figure out a way to help. Sometimes we spend all day just on the phone trying to coordinate things. Other days, we’re out walking the streets talking to the shopkeepers. It’s not a polished operation, and we definitely make mistakes sometimes, but we’re here every day. If you’re ever near Maruthi Nagar, you can see our sign. It’s nothing fancy, just a plain board. We’re just trying to make things a little better for the folks around here, one day at a time.
