Our place is up on the 4th floor on the Main Road in Dilulcukha Nagar. It’s quite a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. We spend most of our time staring at screens and teaching people how to make things move. The office is full of computers and some old sketches pinned to the walls. Arena Animation has been in this spot for a good bit now. Traffic on the main road downstairs is always a mess, so we usually hear a lot of honking while we work. We have a small break room where the coffee is usually lukewarm. It’s not a huge space, but we make it work for the students and the projects we have going on. Most of us have been here for years and know the neighborhood well. The light in the hallway is a bit dim, but once you get inside, it’s bright enough. We don’t really do big meetings; we just talk over the desks. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and the view from the window of the street lights is actually pretty nice. It’s a busy environment but we enjoy the creative energy. People come and go all day, asking about courses or just dropping off files. We just try to keep things running smoothly without too much fuss. A neighbor from the third floor sometimes brings us homemade snacks.
