Dhishakthi Foundation

We’re up on the 5th floor of PSR Towers in Seri Lingampally. It’s in the Shanta Sriram building at Survey No 126. Being in an office building makes us feel a bit more official than we are, but we’re still just a small team. We work on things that matter to us, like helping women get back on their feet or supporting local kids with their studies. It’s not always easy work. Sometimes we struggle to find the right resources or people to help out. We aren't a giant organization with millions of dollars. Dhishakthi Foundation just has a small space and a lot of heart. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at old spreadsheets. It gets tiring, but when we see someone we helped doing better, it’s worth the effort. The 5th floor gives us a nice view of K.V. Rangareddy, but we spend most of our time looking at our notes. We try to keep things simple. No big marketing campaigns or flashy ads. We just talk to people. Most of our support comes from word of mouth. People in Telangana are good about helping each other. We just act as a middleman sometimes to keep things moving. It’s a lot of coordination. We aren't always the most organized, but we make sure the help gets where it is supposed to go.
