Dhanalaxmi Kirana General Store is located in Block-1 of Janapriya Utopia, right here in Attapur, Hyderabad. We are situated beside Anandi Diagnostic, which makes it easy for people to find us. Our shop is where the local residents come to pick up their daily necessities like bread, eggs, and various spices. I spend a lot of my time making sure we have enough stock of the things people use every day. The place is filled with the smell of different grains and soaps. We have a variety of items ranging from cleaning supplies to snacks and bottled drinks. It’s a small space, so we have to be clever about where we put everything. Sometimes things get a little dusty, but we try our best to keep it tidy. There is always a lot of chatter in the shop as neighbors meet each other and catch up while they shop. We don't have any big corporate plans, we just want to keep the shop running well for the people nearby. It’s a practical business, nothing more and nothing less. I like the routine of opening up, greeting the regulars, and seeing the day go by. We stay open pretty late to make sure anyone coming home from work can still get what they need. It’s a basic shop run by local people who understand what the neighborhood needs. It's just a regular part of the day for us to be here behind the counter, weighing things out and chatting.
