Dhaatri Hospital

You can find us at Flat No 5 in the Sarada Apartments in Ameerpet. It’s a bit different because we are inside an apartment building rather than a big standalone hospital structure. It makes the whole place feel a little more cramped but also more like a home, I guess. People walk up the stairs or use the lift to get to the flat. Inside, we converted the rooms into consultation areas and a small waiting zone for the patients. Ameerpet is always crowded, so finding the apartment can be a bit tricky if you aren't looking closely for the sign on the gate. We have a lot of regular people who live in the surrounding buildings who come by for checkups. The kitchen area of the flat is where we keep the water cooler and some of our basic supplies. It is surprisingly quiet inside compared to the noise from the main road outside. Sometimes the neighbors in the other flats complain if the hallway gets too busy, so we try to keep people moving. The lighting is just regular tube lights, and the furniture is mostly wooden chairs that have seen better days. It’s a simple setup for a hospital. You just walk in and wait your turn like anywhere else. Most days it’s just us and the patients talking. It’s a small team here, so we all do a bit of everything, from answering the phone to cleaning up.
