Devaki Foundation

We are located up in Kakathiya Hills, in flat 402 of the S M Residency. It’s a quiet enough spot for us to get our work done. Madhapur is always growing, so there is always someone who needs a hand. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything. It's just an apartment where we keep our records and meet. We started Devaki Foundation because we had some extra time and wanted to put it to good use. Mostly, we focus on helping out with local issues that bigger groups might miss. We aren't experts. We just learn as we go. Some days we are looking for old books, other days it might be making sure a family has enough for their utility bills. It varies a lot. We don't have a set schedule really. If something comes up, we try to handle it. The residents in the building are nice about us having people over occasionally. We try not to make too much noise. It’s just a small group of friends and family running the show. We pay for most things out of our own pockets or from what friends give us. It's a simple way to live. We’ve been at Plot No. 65 for a couple of years now. It feels like home to the foundation. We just keep plugging away at it, even when things get a bit slow.
