I work at the Secunderabad office found at 6-2-111 in the New Bhoiguda area. Even though the name of the company is quite well known, the daily life inside these walls is much like any other office in this part of the city. We have a lot of people coming through the doors every single day. Most of us stay focused on our computer screens, handling different support tasks that are sent to us from various locations. It involves a lot of data entry, responding to emails, and ensuring the internal systems stay running as they should. The building is located in an older section of the city, so there is always some kind of noise or activity happening on the streets outside. We don't do anything particularly flashy here; it is mostly behind-the-scenes work that allows other things to function. Some of the staff stay late and others arrive very early in the morning. We have a small canteen where we can grab a cup of tea and talk about normal, everyday things. It does not feel like one of those high-pressure environments you see in the movies. It is just a place where we come to finish our shift and then head home. Dealing with technical documents and long lists of numbers requires a lot of concentration. Because of that, the office stays fairly quiet most of the time. We have been at this New Bhoiguda location in Secunderabad for a long time now and it feels very familiar to everyone. This part of Andhra Pradesh has plenty of local history.
