If you're looking for us, we’re in Flat 501 of the Gharonda Apartments in Ashok Nagar, Hyderabad. It’s a bit of a different feel working out of an apartment building compared to a regular office block. We’re up on the fifth floor, so we get a decent view of the neighborhood. Ashok Nagar is a pretty lively area, and there’s always something going on down on the streets. We call ourselves market makers, which basically means we spend a lot of time watching the numbers and keeping an eye on how things are moving. It’s a lot of screen time, and it can be a bit stressful when things get busy. The flat is converted into a workspace, so it has a bit of a homey feel, even if it’s full of monitors and desks. We’ve got a small kitchen where we make way too much chai throughout the day. Hyderabad has great food, so we often end up ordering something from a nearby place for lunch. We aren't a huge team, just a few of us who know the markets well. We don't really do the whole corporate polish thing. We just show up, do our trades or whatever needs doing, and try to keep things steady. It’s a quiet enough place to focus, which is what you need when you're dealing with the markets all day long. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, but that’s just life in an apartment block.
