You can find Crystal Mines & Minerals on Ramalyam Street, specifically at 4-7. We are right in the heart of Kukatpally. This part of town is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. Our building isn't anything to look at, just a practical space where we can store and sort through the minerals we handle. We’ve been on Ramalyam Street for a while now. The neighbors know us as the guys who are always loading or unloading something. It gets pretty loud when the trucks are idling outside. The office is just a small corner with a wooden table and a few ledgers. We don't have fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is still done on paper because that's how we've always done it. The heat in Kukatpally can be tough, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building. We just keep the water cooler full and keep working. It is a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the orders are right. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our job and go home to our families at night. There’s a certain rhythm to the work here. You get used to the smell of the earth and the sound of the stones moving. It’s just what we do here on our little stretch of the street. It is dusty and hard work, but it keeps us busy.
