We are located at Shop No 9 within the Taj Krishna grounds on Road No 1 in Banjara Hills. Being in such a well-known spot has its perks, mostly because the surroundings are kept nice and it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main traffic junction. We spend our days here among the suits and the shirts. It’s a small shop, so we know where every single item is kept. Most of the time it’s just the sound of the air conditioning humming in the background and us checking the stock. We have to keep things looking decent, but we aren't robots. Sometimes we are just sitting there having a quiet chat until a customer walks in. We have been here for a good while and we know the rhythms of the hotel guests coming and going. It’s not a huge operation with hundreds of workers, just a handful of us making sure everything stays in order. Banjara Hills is a busy area but our little corner feels a bit tucked away. We don’t do big fancy ads or anything. People just find us when they are staying nearby or if they’ve been coming to us for years. It’s just a regular job for us and we try to do it right every day. We handle the clothes with care and make sure the place stays tidy for whoever might drop by next.
