Contour Steel Engineering India Pvt. Ltd.

Our office, Contour Steel Engineering India Pvt. Ltd., is on the third floor of Rauf Plaza. The building is Office No-9-4-77/A/249 in Al Hasnath Colony, which is in the Toli Chowki area. It is a busy commercial building and our space is filled with desks, computers, and a lot of technical drawings. We are engineers who focus on steel structures, so we spend most of the day looking at plans and doing calculations. It is much quieter than a steel mill, but there is still plenty of work going on. Toli Chowki is a very lively part of town with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We often go out to find something to eat or get some air when the office feels too small. The elevator in Rauf Plaza is sometimes slow, so we end up taking the stairs. We have a small group of people working here, mostly focused on the design and engineering side of things. It is a professional but relaxed atmosphere. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist. Usually, someone just looks up from their screen when a visitor walks in. The walls are mostly covered with charts and project schedules. We just keep our heads down and get the engineering work done for the various projects we have on our plate. It is a lot of time spent in front of screens but that is just how the job is.
