Computer World

Our place is at No. 23-100-71/1/2 on Street 3 in Nagole. If you come by Computer World, you’ll see right away that it’s a working shop. There are stacks of old motherboards in the corner and tangled cables behind the counter. We don't have much room for fancy displays, so most of the new stock is still in the boxes it came in. The floor is just plain tiles and we probably don't sweep it as often as we should. It gets pretty noisy when we have three or four towers running at the same time for testing. The air smells a little bit like warm plastic and dust. We usually have the radio on in the background, but it’s mostly just to drown out the traffic from the street. Customers usually come in with things that aren't working right, so the mood is a bit quiet until we figure out what's wrong. We keep a big jar of screws on the workbench because they always seem to go missing. Sometimes the door sticks when it’s raining, so you have to give it a bit of a push to get inside. It's not a showroom where everything is shiny and perfect. We just have our tools and our parts and we spend the day looking at screens or taking things apart. It's a simple setup here in Nagole, and we like it that way because it lets us focus on the tasks.
