Child Wish Well Foundation

Khairatabad is a busy place to be, and our office on the second floor of 6-2-983 definitely feels that energy. You can hear the traffic from Saifabad all day long while we are sitting at our desks. It’s not a quiet library environment, that’s for sure. We started this whole thing because we wanted to do something for kids, and Child Wish Well Foundation is basically just us trying to make things a little better where we can. The office has a few chairs for visitors and a lot of folders stacked up on the shelves. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit moody, so we end up taking the stairs, which is good exercise I guess. We spend most of our time looking at requests and trying to figure out how to help more children. It isn’t always easy, and sometimes we run out of coffee before the afternoon even starts. People from the neighborhood pop in now and then just to say hello or ask what we are up to. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything, just a few tables and some computers that have seen better days. But it works for us and the kids we are trying to help. We just take it one day at a time here in Hyderabad, trying to stay organized while everything moves so fast outside.
