Bricks The School

Kamalapuri Colony is one of those hidden spots in Banjara Hills that’s actually quite quiet if you know where to turn. We are located at Plots 77 and 78 in Phase III, which is near Road Number 2. It’s a bit of a hilly area, like much of this part of Hyderabad. The school is tucked away from the main traffic, so you don't get as much of that constant city noise. We’ve got a building that feels a bit more like a residence than a big school. The kids spend their time in the play area or in the rooms that we’ve tried to make as comfortable as possible. We don’t use a lot of big words or have a polished way of talking to people. If you come by, you’ll probably see one of us moving some chairs around or fixing a broken toy. The staff has been here for a while and we mostly know all the parents by their first names. It’s a small community over here in Sagar Society. We get the morning sun through the front windows, and it’s usually the best time of day before things get hectic. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It’s just a local school run by people who live nearby. Sometimes the gate squeaks and we forget to oil it, but that’s just how things are. We just keep things simple and focus on the day-to-day. It’s a good way to spend the week and we enjoy the quiet of the colony.
