Brahmashakti Sadhnapeeth Foundation

Brahmashakti Sadhnapeeth Foundation is based in Somajiguda, specifically in the Elite Height Apts. It is a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes in these older apartment blocks, but we are up in Flat 402 on the 5th floor. Somajiguda is always busy, so finding parking for visitors is a real headache most days. Most of us just take the bus or a rickshaw to work. The office feels more like a home because it is an apartment after all. We have some chairs and a few cupboards for the books and papers we keep. The windows look out over the city, and you can see the traffic crawling along the main road from up there. It gets quiet in the afternoons when the sun is hitting the balcony. We sit around the kitchen table or at the desks and talk about the work that needs doing. There isn't any fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just ring the bell and someone comes to the door. We’ve been at this location for a while now. The address is Municipal No.6-3-1238/15/1. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say when you’re giving directions over the phone. We usually just tell people to look for the Elite Height sign. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We spend most of our time dealing with the paperwork or meeting people who stop by for a chat.
