Our place, Bms Signs & Digital Solutions, is a bit tucked away at House No. 12-11-615/A. We’re on the second line, right behind the Kausar Masjid in the Warasiguda area. It can be a little tricky to find if it’s your first time coming to Namala Gundu. We’ve been in this house for a while now. It’s not a regular shopfront on a main road, it’s more of a quiet spot where we can actually get things done. We have printers and equipment taking up most of the space. There’s usually a lot of scrap material laying around from the signs we make. We don’t have a fancy office setup. It’s just tables and machines. The neighborhood is pretty lively since the Masjid is right there. We hear the calls to prayer throughout the day, which is just part of the routine for us now. We mostly deal with people who already know where we are. It’s a family-run kind of feeling here. We don’t wear uniforms or have big meetings. We just look at what needs to be printed or designed and we do it. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s life here in Namala Gundu. We keep things simple and honest. We’ve got our tools and our space, and that’s enough for us to keep going every day.
