B.Jaya Kumar Kirana And General Stores

This store is located at 11-3-654/9/B in New Ashok Nagar, Parsigutta. We are right opposite the Ashok Seva Sangam Committee Hall. That hall is a major landmark around here, and whenever there’s a meeting or a function going on, the shop gets really busy. People stop in for snacks or things they forgot to bring for their event. Most of the time, though, it’s just the local residents coming in for their usual kirana items. I keep the shop filled with all the essentials like flour, pulses, and soaps. It’s a typical Hyderabad neighborhood shop. I handle most of the work myself, from ordering the stock to helping the customers at the counter. The shop is my second home, really. I spend more time here than anywhere else. The shelves are a bit worn out, and the floor has some cracks, but it’s a place that serves the community. I don't try to make it look like a supermarket; it’s just a local general store. I know which brand of detergent the lady from down the street likes and which biscuits the kids prefer. Those little details are what make the job worth it. It’s not about being the biggest or the best, it’s just about being here when someone needs to buy something for their house. The committee hall across the street keeps things lively, and there's always something happening in this part of Parsigutta.
