Big Grocery Bazar

You can find Big Grocery Bazar at D. No. 15-7-35/8 in Galsa Wadi, which is part of the larger Begum Bazar area. If you've ever been to Begum Bazar, you know how packed and noisy it gets. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We carry all the usual things you’d expect to find in a grocery store. The aisles are narrow because we try to fit as much as possible onto the shelves. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, even for us. We spend our days restocking items and helping people find what they are looking for. It’s a lot of lifting heavy bags of rice and flour. By the end of the day, our aprons are usually covered in flour dust. We don't have a fancy checkout system, just a simple counter where we take the cash. The neighborhood is very old, and the building has its quirks, like floors that aren't quite level. We've been here for a long time, and we've seen generations of families come through our doors. We don't do any big promotions or sales events. We just keep our prices fair and make sure we have the basics in stock. It gets very crowded on the weekends, and sometimes it feels like there isn't enough air in the shop. But we enjoy the bustle and the talk of the customers. It’s just how life is in Begum Bazar.
