Bhaskara Medical College

You will find Bhaskara Medical College up on the 4th floor of Bhaskara Plaza. We are right on Road No 1 in Banjara Hills, which is probably one of the busiest streets you could find yourself on. Being on the fourth floor means we get a bit of a view of the traffic below, which is usually crawling along during rush hour. The plaza itself has all kinds of different businesses in it, so there are always people going up and down in the elevators. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when the classes are changing and all the students are trying to get to their next lecture at the same time. The halls can get quite noisy with everyone talking at once. We’ve got some offices and classrooms set up, and they aren’t anything too special, just the standard desks and boards you’d expect in a school. Our staff stays busy trying to keep the schedules straight and making sure the paperwork for the students is all in order. Banjara Hills is a nice area, but it’s definitely crowded, and finding a parking spot near the plaza can be a real headache if you don't get here early. We usually start the day with some tea and a quick look at the plan for the afternoon. It’s a lot of work running a college in the middle of such a fast-moving part of town, but we just take it one day at a time and keep things moving. We’ve seen a lot of students graduate and go on to do other things, and it’s always interesting to see who comes through the doors next.
