Bharath Cancer Hospital

Bharath Cancer Hospital is sitting at No. 438 on the Outer Ring Road. Being on such a major road means there is always a lot of movement outside our doors. It can get pretty loud with the traffic, but once you step inside, things settle down a bit. We focus on cancer care here, which means our days are a bit different than a general hospital. We see the same people coming back for their treatments over many weeks, so we get to know them and their families quite well. The building is clearly numbered so people don't miss it while they are driving on the Ring Road. We have a parking area that stays full most of the time, and a waiting room where you’ll usually find people reading or just chatting quietly. The nurses and the doctors here are regular people who work long hours. We don’t have any fancy marketing slogans or a glossy brochure. We just have our desks, our equipment, and the rooms where the work happens. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow, but we make do. It’s a serious environment because of the nature of the illnesses we treat, but we try to keep it friendly. We focus on the practical side of getting through the day. Everyone here is just trying to do their part in a place that’s easy for folks to reach from all over the city. It is just what we do here at number 438.
