Bhagyalatha Hospital

Our hospital, Bhagyalatha Hospital, sits right across from the Vanasthalipuram Deer Park. It’s a nice landmark to have because everyone knows where the park is. You can see the trees and sometimes hear the birds from the upper floors. We handle various medical cases here. It’s a general hospital, so we get a bit of everything coming through the doors. We have beds for patients who need to stay over and a small staff that works in shifts. It can get pretty hectic during the flu season or when there’s something going around the neighborhood. We aren't a massive facility with hundreds of rooms, but we have enough to take care of the people living around here. The building has been here for years. It might look a bit older than the new glass buildings in the city, but we keep everything running properly. We focus on getting people better so they can go back home to their families. The doctors here are practical people. They don’t use big words that nobody understands. We just explain what’s wrong and what needs to be done. It’s a community hospital through and through. Being near the park makes the air feel a bit fresher than the middle of the city. We just do our daily work, look after the patients, and try to be helpful. It's a lot of work, but someone has to do it, and we are glad it is us.
