Our place is in Saifabad, right across from the Telephone Bhavan. It’s a pretty central location which helps us get around. Bay Mining & Exports India Llp is the name on the door at 6/1/85/G/A/B. We deal with minerals and shipping them out. The office is always a bit dusty, probably because of the nature of what we handle. We have rocks and ore samples sitting on the shelves next to the printer. It’s a functional space, nothing pretty about it. We spend a lot of time talking to managers and transport companies. The traffic outside can get really loud during rush hour in Saifabad. We’ve got an old desk that’s been with us since the day we started. It’s a bit wobbly on one side but it works fine for us. We handle a lot of permits and forms because mining involves so much paperwork. It can be a real headache at times. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait around for it to come back on. We aren't a massive corporation with a fancy lobby. It's just a couple of rooms where we get things done. We know the tea seller nearby very well. Most days are just about tracking shipments and making sure the logistics don't fall apart. It’s honest work and we’ve been at it for a while now in this Saifabad office. We don't put on any acts, we just work and stay on schedule.
