Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute is located on Road No. 14 in Banjara Hills. This place is a bit of a mix because we have both the hospital where we treat people and the research side where we look into new ways of doing things. It’s a large building and it stays busy pretty much twenty-four hours a day. Banjara Hills is a prominent part of Hyderabad, and being on Road 14 makes us easy to find, even if the traffic is sometimes a bit much. We have a lot of different departments under one roof. The staff here is a mix of doctors, researchers, and support people. We don't really go for the corporate look; it’s more about having a place that works for the patients. There’s a lot of specialized equipment here that you don't find in smaller clinics. We see people who are going through some very difficult times, so we just try to be straightforward and helpful. It’s a lot of technical work, but at the end of the day, it’s about the people in the beds. The research part means there are often students or experts around too. We’ve been part of the community here for years. It’s a serious environment because of the nature of the work, but we are just regular people doing our jobs. If you need to find us, we are right there in the heart of Banjara Hills. It’s a big task for everyone.
