Sun X Solar

Sun X Solar operates out of Flat No:201 on the second floor of Patel Avenue. That is over at 8-2-618/2/1/1 on Road No.11 in Banjara Hills. It is a busy street with lots of cars and people moving around all day long. The office is basically an old residential flat that we converted into a workspace. It feels a bit cramped sometimes with all the solar equipment samples and brochures leaning against the walls. We have desks pushed together and wires running across the floor to power the laptops. From the small balcony, you can see the sun hitting the buildings across the street. It is fitting since we spend all our time talking about solar energy and how to get panels on roofs. Some days we are out on sites measuring rooftops, and other days we are just sitting here answering phones. The traffic on Road No.11 is always loud, so we usually keep the windows shut to hear ourselves think. It is not a shiny corporate office like some of the big companies downtown. We have a tiny kitchen where we make tea, and the fridge is usually full of leftover lunches. It is a bit messy with paperwork, but we know where everything is. People come by sometimes to ask questions, and we just give them the honest details about what works. It is a steady grind, but the location in Banjara Hills is convenient for most of us to get to.
