We are tucked away in Sagar Society, specifically at Plot No. 41 on Road No. 2. Orvito Technologies is basically a bunch of people who like playing with gadgets and figuring out how to make lights turn on by themselves. It’s not as glamorous as it sounds. A lot of the time we are just staring at screens or trying to figure out why a piece of hardware isn't talking to the software. The office is usually quiet, except for the sound of keyboards clicking. We work on home automation stuff mostly. It's about making things a bit easier for folks who want to control their fans or geysers from their phones. We aren't some massive company with hundreds of employees. We're a smaller team and we focus on getting the tech to actually work in real homes, not just in a lab. Sometimes the internet goes down and we all have to wait around, which is frustrating. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us at our desks with wires everywhere. It's practical work. We just enjoy the challenge of building something that someone might actually use in their daily life without it being too complicated. We spend a lot of time testing things over and over again until they finally behave. It’s a lot of trial and error in this office on Road No. 2.
