Frame Craft

Up on the 6th Floor of Landmark Banjara, you will find us at Frame Craft. Our address is Rd. No. 12, and it’s a decent area of town. Working on the sixth floor gives us a bit of a view, which is nice when you need a break from looking at frames all day. We do a lot of custom work here. The floor is usually covered in little bits of wood and glass shavings, no matter how much we sweep. We have various tools scattered around the benches, and there is always the smell of glue or wood finish in the air. It’s a creative space, but it’s messy. People bring in all sorts of things to get framed—old photos, paintings, even sports jerseys. We have to be really careful with what people give us. Sometimes a project takes longer than we thought because the wood isn't sitting right or the glass breaks. We don't have a fancy showroom; you just walk in and see us working. We talk to our customers about what they want, though we don't always agree on the best color. It’s a small shop feel despite being in a bigger building like Landmark Banjara. We take pride in the stuff we put together, even if our aprons are always dirty. It’s just how we work. Every day is a bit different depending on what comes through the door.
