Our office and production space are over at A 24 and 25 in the A P I E area of Balanagar. Nectar Crop Sciences Pvt. Ltd. has been a part of this industrial landscape for a good while. Balanagar is a busy place, and we fit right in with the rest of the units around here. We work with things related to crops, so there are always containers and bags being moved around the floor. It is a bit more technical than some of the other shops nearby, but we don't act like we are better than anyone. We wear our lab coats or our work shirts and get through the day's schedule. The air in Balanagar always has that smell of industry—a mix of smoke and materials. Our building is functional, designed for work rather than looking pretty for visitors who might drop by. We spend a lot of time looking at samples and making sure the mixtures are right. It’s a lot of repetition, but you have to be careful in this line of work because mistakes cost time. Lunchtime is when we finally sit down and take a break from the noise. We aren't big on corporate meetings or long presentations. Usually, we just talk over what needs to be done for the next batch and then get back to the floor. It’s a steady life and we are glad for it.
