Leumas Exquisites

We are up here on the second floor of the building near Shivalayam. It’s funny because people often miss the entrance the first time they come by Shivalayam Street. You have to look for the stairs right beside the temple. The room is usually quiet in the mornings, but by afternoon the sun hits the windows in a way that makes it quite warm. We spend a lot of time just organizing the items on the shelves and trying to keep everything straight. It’s a mix of things really. Some people come in looking for specific items and others just want to see what is new in the glass cases. Fathenagar gets busy on the weekends, so we try to have everything dusted and ready by then. Sometimes the old ceiling fan makes a bit of clicking noise, but we have gotten used to it. My cousin used to help out here more often, but now it’s mostly just two of us managing the floor every day. We don’t even have a big sign outside yet, just the small one by the door upstairs. Most of our visitors are from around Balanagar anyway, so they already know where we are. It is not a huge space, but it fits what we need for now. We handle the orders as they come in and try not to let the paperwork pile up on the desk. The tea stall downstairs is where we go for a break.
