Azad Metcast Pvt. Ltd. is located over at 58/A in the S Vc I E area of Balanagar. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories all day long. It’s a very busy part of Hyderabad, and there is always the sound of machinery or heavy trucks in the background. We focus on metal casting here, which is a hot and heavy job. We have our furnaces and the molds all set up in the back part of the unit. The floor is usually covered in sand and bits of metal, and the air smells like molten iron most of the time we are working. It’s hard work, and we all go home feeling pretty tired after a long shift. Balanagar is a place where people really put in the hours, and we are no different. We’ve been at this unit for some time now, and we have a routine that works for us. We don't have fancy reception areas or anything like that. It’s just a place for work, where we get the casting done and the orders ready for the people who need them. Sometimes the traffic in the industrial estate makes it hard to get trucks in and out, but we manage. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand, making sure each piece comes out the way it’s supposed to for the customer.
