Daster The Restaurent

If you come down to Balanagar, you might find us at Plot No 5. Daster The Restaurent is situated at 6 2 102/1/D. It’s a simple setup. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or wiping down the tables. It’s not a big fancy place with waiters in suits. We just cook and serve what people ask for. The morning starts with getting the stove going and prepping the vegetables. Balanagar can get quite busy, especially around lunch. Our location at V M is easy enough to find if you know the area. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the chairs aren't the softest, but people come for the food anyway. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. It’s just us. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to manage with what we have. We see the same faces every day, workers from nearby and people living in the neighborhood. It gets hot in the kitchen, especially in the summer months. We try to keep things clean and the food hot. We don't bother with fancy menus. We just write down what’s available. By the end of the day, our feet usually ache, but that’s just part of the job. It’s honest work, and we like being part of the local scene here in Balanagar. We hope that the fans keep working because it gets really stuffy in here when the sun is high. We don't have many decorations. It's a humble place.
