Balaji Kirana & General Store

Balaji Kirana & General Store is tucked away at 4-4-60 in Sultan Bazar. We are right by the X Road in the Koti area of Hyderabad, which is usually a very busy spot for shopping. If you find the Bata Showroom, we are just behind it, so it’s not too hard to locate us once you are in the neighborhood. We sell all the usual kirana items like spices, oils, and packaged snacks. The shop is small and the space is tight, but we manage to fit everything on the shelves. It’s a family-run place, so you usually see one of us sitting at the front counter. We have been in 500095 for quite some time, watching the area change around us. The street can get a bit dusty and loud with all the shoppers, but we are used to it by now. We don't have any fancy displays or a big staff. It is just a matter of keeping the bins full and helping people find their salt or flour. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to stack boxes in the aisles for a few hours. It feels good being a part of the Koti market scene. Most people who come in are just looking for their weekly supplies. We try to keep the prices fair and the service quick, though we might stop for a chat if it’s not too busy.
