Baba Steel Corporation

We are situated right opposite the Sai Baba Temple on Railway Station Road in Malkajigiri. You can hear the temple bells throughout the day, and every now and then, the sound of a train passing by on the tracks nearby. It is a very busy area with people coming and going constantly. Our business deals with steel, so the shop is full of heavy metal bars, sheets, and pipes. It is a noisy place when we are moving stock around or cutting things to size. Dust is a constant companion here, especially with the road being so close. We have a small office area tucked in the corner, but most of our time is spent out on the floor. We don't have any polished floors or glass windows; it’s all open and practical. We’ve been in Malkajigiri for a long time and have seen the area grow. People come to us for all sorts of steel needs, from small home repairs to bigger construction bits. We don't do much in the way of selling; we just tell people what we have and how much it costs. The work is physically demanding, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired. We close the shutters when the sun goes down and the temple starts its evening prayers. It’s a steady life. We have a few chairs used for folders, but we can clear one if someone needs to sit.
