Our office is at 4-5-173 in the Hasmath Gunj area of Sultan Bazar. B N Rathi Securities Ltd has been part of this neighborhood for quite a while. Sultan Bazar is always crowded, and the energy from the market definitely reaches us inside. We deal with a lot of paperwork and numbers every day. It is the kind of place where the phone rings a lot and there are always ledgers sitting on the desks. We do not have fancy decorations or modern art on the walls; it is mostly just functional furniture and a lot of filing cabinets. Working in securities means we have to stay focused, even when the street noise outside gets a bit much. We have seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our spot in Hasmath Gunj stays pretty much the same. It is a practical environment. We spend our time helping folks with their documents and making sure all the records are accurate. Sometimes the power flickers and we have to wait for the computers to reboot, which gives us a chance to grab a quick snack from the vendors outside. It is a very local way of doing things. We are not some big corporate giant; we are just people working in a busy market area. We show up, do the work, and head home like everyone else. It is a bit cramped with all the paper, but we manage to keep things moving along.
