Avita Packaged Drinking Water

The plant is located out in the Electronics Complex in Kushaiguda. It’s a busy industrial area and our Plot No. 50 stays pretty active from early morning until late evening. We deal with packaged drinking water, so there is always the sound of machinery and bottles clinking in the background. It’s not a quiet place to work. The trucks are constantly coming in and out of the gates to load up for deliveries around the city. We have a small office section where we handle the billing and the schedules, but most of the action happens on the floor. The floors are usually a bit wet because that is just the nature of the business. We wear our boots and keep the lines moving. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting crates and checking the seals on the caps. Sometimes the heat in the warehouse gets a bit much during the summer, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. We aren't trying to be anything fancy, just a local supplier making sure people have clean water when they need it. Most of the guys working here live nearby in the neighborhood, so we feel like a part of the local community. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure the filters are clean and the bottles are filled right every single day. It’s a basic operation but it keeps us busy.
