If you are looking for Astra Orthopaedic Clinic, we are on the ground floor of the Kanthi Sikara Apartment building. We’re right in Panjagutta, right beside Geethangali Womens College. It’s a well-known area, so finding us isn't usually a problem for most folks. Being on the ground floor is really helpful because most of our patients have trouble walking or have injuries with their bones and joints. It would be a nightmare if they had to climb stairs. The clinic is a decent size, with a waiting area that has some old magazines and a few chairs that have seen better days. We spend our time looking at X-rays and talking to people about their knees or backs. It’s a specialized kind of work, but we try to explain things in plain English so everyone understands what’s going on. The atmosphere is generally quiet, though you can hear the students from the college next door when they are on their breaks. We keep our tools and supplies in glass cabinets and try to keep the dust off the shelves. It’s a very hands-on job, and we end up on our feet most of the day. We aren't trying to be a fancy clinic with a coffee bar; we just want to help people walk without pain. It’s an honest place in Punjagutta where we just do our work and go home to our families.
