Aslamtayyab

Our place is H.No.B-21, over in the 1st Phase of Vanasthalipuram. If you know Hyderabad at all, you know this area can get pretty crowded. Aslamtayyab is based right here. It’s a residential-looking building, so it doesn’t stand out much. We like it that way. Inside, there are a few rooms filled with boxes and some old wooden desks. The floor is that typical stone you see in older houses around here. It stays cool even when the sun is beating down on the roof. We spend a lot of time just organizing things. There isn’t a big staff, just a few of us who have been around for a while. We know where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. The 1st Phase has its own rhythm. You hear the vegetable sellers passing by in the morning and the scooters zooming off to work. We usually start the day by sweeping the front step. It gets dusty fast. There’s a small tree out front that provides a bit of shade. We don't have any glossy brochures or a marketing team. We just answer the phone and deal with people directly. It’s a quiet life at B-21. We do our tasks, talk about the news, and close up when the sun starts to set. It’s basic, but it’s our routine. We don't see any reason to move or change how we do things. It just works for us and we keep going until the work is finished.
