Asian Fabrications

Our workshop, Asian Fabrications, is located at 8-4-375/15, in the lane that sits opposite Metropolis. We are quite close to Kabita High School in the New Shastrinagar area, just off Mothinagar Road in Sanathnagar. It can be a little bit confusing to find us the first time, but we have been here long enough that the locals know where we are. You can usually hear the kids at the school during the morning hours, mixed in with the sounds of our grinding and welding machines. We do a lot of metal fabrication, so the workshop is mostly full of steel scraps and half-finished projects. It is definitely not the cleanest place to work. We spend most of our hours measuring out metal on the floor and getting things lined up properly. It is hard work on the back and our hands usually stay pretty dirty. We have a small area where we keep our tools and a couple of chairs for when we take a break. The road outside can get very narrow when people park their bikes there, which makes it hard to move materials in and out of the shop. We just handle whatever jobs come in each day. Some days we have too much to do and other days we are just tidying up the shop. We have gotten to know the other people working in Sanathnagar. It is just a normal workshop.
